Suzuki held the world premiere line off ceremony for mass production of the new car at its Magyar Suzuki Corporation production facility at Esztergom, in Hungary. Increased track and larger diameter wheels with lower profile tyres allow for even better handling than the already highly acclaimed outgoing Suzuki Swift that first went on sale in 2005. The interior design now has a more dynamic feel, featuring black as its keynote colour with accents of silver throughout the car.
New Swift has grown slightly in length (+90mm) with a 50mm increase in wheelbase. For the powertrain; a new 1.2-litre petrol engine incorporating Dual VVT (Variable intake and exhaust valve timing) is utilised which produces 94PS at 6,000rpm, slightly more than the outgoing 1.3-litre unit. Torque is also improved to 118Nm at 4,800rpm. Fuel consumption on the combined cycle is now 56.5mpg for the manual transmission model, an improvement of 7.8mpg over the previous 1.3-litre unit. Emissions are much lower as well; the new 1.2-litre engine with manual transmission produces just 116g/km on the combined cycle; representing a 24g/km or 17 per cent improvement over the 1.3. An optional automatic transmission will be available for the petrol engine from launch.
A 1.3-litre diesel engine will also become available and planned for UK introduction in early 2011; this engine emits 109g/km (down from 119g/km) and has an impressive combined fuel consumption of 67.3mpg, an improvement on an already highly credible 62.8mpg from the outgoing Suzuki Swift DDiS. This Euro 5 engine has more precise engine management than before with reduced levels of mechanical friction for smoother running and flexibility

Maruti Eeco To Launch At Auto Expo 2010 Details
Maruti Suzuki India now on its way to launch an all new MPV(Multi Purpose Vehicle) in Indian market, named New Maruti Eeco. The New Maruti Eeco will be launched at the Auto Expo 2010 in New Delhi starting next month.
The all new Maruti Eeco is expected to be powered with 1200cc G12 petrol engine that produces maximum power of 73 Bhp at 6000 rpm with the maximum torque of 101 Nm at 3000 rpm. .The new engine of Eeco will be Bharat Stage IV compliant to meet the strict emission norms which will be in effect from April, 2011 in 11 cities in India.Eeco has a seating capacity for 7 adults.
The new Maruthi Eeco offers mileage of 15.1kmpl.Its refined five speed manual transmission gearbox with DSA (Diagonal Shift Assistance) technology offers noise-free gear change with out any break in continuity and improves gear-shifting of the car.The new Maruti Eeco is expected to come up with an affordable price tag of around 4 lakh rupees.Maruti Eeco will be launched on 7th of this January and will be available with six exciting colors.

Maruti Suzuki India recently launched the much improved version of its 2009 model in Indian market.The main addition is the new 1.6 VVT(Variable Valve Timing) engine.The 1600cc four cylinder petrol engine is capable of providing a max power 102bhp at 5500rpm with maximum torque of 154Nm at 4200rpm.New Maruti SX4 Additions & Features

Maruti New Zen Estilo ReviewAs a result of the great success of A-Star & Ritz Maruti Suzuki India is all set to launch all New Zen Estilo which was expected to hit Indian automobile market by 26th August.The car comes with changes such as the front fascia will be completely new with new sharper designed headlamps, new grille and front bumper with round fog lamps.
The new zen Estilo will be powered with a 998cc, 3 cyl, MPFi, KB-series petrol engine which outputs a maximum power of 67 Bhp @ 6200 rpm and a peak torque of 90 Nm @ 3500 rpm.
The current generation Zen Estilo is powered by the WagonR's 1.1 Litre in-line 4 cylinder engine which generates 64 bhp at 6200 rpm with 84 Nm of torque delivered at 3500 rpm.
New Zen Estilo VXi model has a top speed of 155km/hr.The car has a fuel efficiency of 18.00 kmpl on Highway and 14.00 kmpl on City conditions.
